Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day : 1 Munnar
On arrival in Kochi meet our representative and transfer to Munnar and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the neighbourhood.

Day : 2 Munnar
After Breakfast at the hotel in Munnar you can explore the tea gardens spread outlike a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Go for sightseeing of Munnar which includes the Raja Malai, a hill of Munnar where you can see extincting breed of the Neel Thar (mountain goats) and Mattupetty dam, echo points, Eravikulam national park etc. Overnight at Munnar.

Day : 3 Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel, and proceed to Thekkady. It is a delightful
journey through thick forests, Rubber, Pepper, Cardamom and Tea plantations. Check
in the hotel. Visit Periyar National Park Periyar and enjoy the boat ride on the Periyar
Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve and have a chance to see the big cat. Later on,
you may go for an Elephant ride, Jeep safari through the jungle. In the evening visit to
spice garden or take a stroll at the local markets in Thekkady and enjoy the local
cuisines. Overnight stay at Hotel in Thekkady.

Day : 4 Thekkady– Kumarakom
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel, and proceed to Kumarakom. Welcome to the
backwaters of Kerala. Check in houseboat. While enjoying cruising in these floating
luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing
nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products,
rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served on
board. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day : 5 Kumarakom – Cherai Kochi
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel, and proceed to Kochi.After noon visit Cherai beach.Famous for the rustic images of Chinese fishing nets from its sands, Cherai is one of the most visited beaches in Kochi. The seashells on Cherai Beach are unique and swimmers have been known to run into dolphins in the waters.Overnight stay ay Cherai
