Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Arrival at Colombo

    When you arrive in Colombo, check into your hotel and refresh. Based on your arrival time. Begin your exploration with a city tour that showcases Colombo's colorful blend of old and new. Visit important locations, like as the busy Pettah Market, where you can sample local cuisine and shop for unique items. Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, one of Colombo's most famous Buddhist temples. Explore the unique blend of architectural styles, which includes traditional Sri Lankan, Thai, and modern elements. Eat a fantastic Sri Lankan lunch at a neighboring eatery. Colonial Building Tour: Wander the streets of Colombo to see the colonial architecture. As recommended by a friendly local, try the popular street dish 'isso wadey' (spicy prawn fritters) from one of the vendors on Galle Face Green. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening and get ready for the next day's events.

  • Day : 2 Colombo to Kandy

    After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Kandy. On your route to Kandy, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Here, elephants are cared for, fed, and bathed. It's an excellent location to learn about elephant conservation. Reach Kandy and settle into your hotel. Begin with a leisurely stroll around Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake) to take in the scenery. Visit the renowned Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a Buddhist sanctuary that houses a precious relic. Enjoy lunch at a small eatery in Kandy. Go to the museum to learn about Sri Lanka's remarkable gemstones. Learn about the history and method of gem mining, and see some breathtaking examples of the country's rare stones. Visit a batik factory to witness the traditional method of making batik cloth. Go to a viewpoint for a panoramic view of Kandy and the surrounding mountains. It's a fantastic site for taking photographs and admiring the area's natural splendor. Attend a cultural presentation in Kandy that features traditional Sri Lankan music and dancing. Finish your day with a peaceful dinner. Return to the hotel.

  • Day : 3 Kandy to Bentota

    Start your day with a great breakfast and check out of the hotel; then proceed to Bentota. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and relax. Bentota is known for its stunning beaches and aquatic activities. Have a lunch at your hotel or a local restaurant. Then Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a conservation effort committed to conserving marine turtles. Learn about the various turtle species, their nesting behaviors, and how the hatchery is working to secure their survival. Visit the Mask Museum in Ambalangoda to learn about the history and workmanship of traditional Sri Lankan masks. Enjoy a magnificent river safari along the Madu Ganga River. This quiet river is surrounded by beautiful mangroves and provides opportunities to observe local species, such as birds and crocodiles. Visit Ma Duwa village to learn about the local lifestyle and culture. After a day of activities, have a relaxed dinner at your hotel or a nearby restaurant. Return to the hotel in Bentota.
